CALL TO ORDER

Chairman Baker called the Benton County Fire District #3 Meeting to order at 7:29 p.m.

Board Members Randy Fox, Larry Mercer and Chief Douglas Merritt were present.

A motion was made by Chairman Baker, seconded by Board Member Mercer to elect Board Member Fox as the new Chairman. Motion carried unanimously.

CITIZEN PARTICIPATION

No citizen participation was received.

BOARD REPORTS AND COMMENTS

Chairman Fox and Board Member Mercer thanked Board Member Baker for a job well done the last year as the Chairman.

APPROVAL OF DECEMBER 15, 2008 MINUTES

A motion was made by Board Member Mercer, seconded by Board Member Baker to approve the December 15, 2008 minutes. Motion carried unanimously.

APPROVAL OF VOUCHER #2009-01 thru #2009-04 in the amount of $34,969.61.

A motion was made by Board Member Baker, seconded by Board Member Mercer to approve the voucher 2009-01 thru #2009-04 in the amount of $34,969.61. Motion carried unanimously.

A note was made that the Commissioner Conference attendance was not included in the 4^th quarter Commissioner pay and would be included in the 1^st quarter 2009 commissioner pay.

OLD BUSINESS

Chief Merritt stated he was looking into not using the association account as petty cash.

NEW BUSINESS

Discuss Possible Vehicle Replacement

No discussion was received.

ADJOURMENT

There being no further business before the Benton County Fire District #3 Board at this time, the Board Meeting of the Benton County Fire District #3 was adjourned at 7:40 p.m.
